So today i want to talk about a crucial thing i.e;
"WHAT IS THAT ONE THING THAT SEPARATES US FROM THE LOVE OF GOD"?
If ya'll have watched my Youtube video that i posted few days back you would have known it by now.Well if not please continue to read through.
As we all know that God's love is something that cannot be bought with a price. It is an unconditional and unexceptional love. We don't deserve such love as we all are sinners and take things for granted, but still that love was poured onto us without a doubt just because He loved us.
If such exquisite love can be taken away from us then what is that significant thing? It is nothing but "SIN"
In ISAIAH 59:2 it's very clearly mentioned that;But your iniquities have made a separation between you and your God, And your sins have hidden His face from you so that He does not hear.
SIN is the devil's way of linking us to him.He uses sin as a tool to draw our souls towards him.
We need to know that we were all born as sinners. Sin dwelled within us. Nobody thought us to sin.As we know are forefathers Adam & Eve when the devil tempted them they fell into temptation and sin entered their lives which has followed this far and will keep following.
We cant fight sin on our own. Our fleshly bodies are so weak i.e; the more we try to stop ourselves from doing it the faster we fall into it. Our spirit knows that committing sin is a wrong thing but still we cannot control our own thoughts& action and thus end up falling into the trap.
As the Bible verse says in MATTHEW 26:41; Watch and pray so that you don't fall into temptation.The spirit is willing, but the flesh is weak.
So we can clearly come to a conclusion that we all need a Savior,a Helper and a Healer which is JESUS(God).
EXPLANATION:
WHAT IS SIN?
Sin can be termed as a "temporary bad antidote" that pushes us into permanent darkness and detaches us from God(The light) and stops us from receiving His blessings and salvation.
Easy explanation: It's the only easy way to Hell.
WHY DO WE COMMIT SIN?
Only to satisfy our flesh on a temporary basis.
I've mentioned sin as a temporary bad antidote because when we commit a sin that happiness/satisfaction only stays for awhile and then it's gone.
eg: Now a person has harmed you or spoken ill of you. We obviously cant take it and anger starts to gush out. So the next thing we want to do is that we'll want to insult that person badly or will want to hurt them. Our heart knows that it's a wrong act to hurt or insult a person physically/mentally, but still our flesh/mind can't control the pain and finally we end up acting against our heart/spirit and it turns out to be a sin. Because hurting someone is bad.
When this happens the joy might be for while but we know that it's not gonna last long and it will keep on continuing. This small action that happened due to our uncontrollable anger can very much turn into a murder as days pass by, which is the final act. And once that happens we find ourselves guilty of doing it and the devil will darken all our thoughts and we will end up giving out our life(soul) to the him(suicide).
So this is what is happens when we commit that temporary act we will be pushed into permanent darkness and nothing can save us after that.
The devil needs our soul so to gain that He will play all kinda mind games to draw you into his trap and kill you.
NOTE:
Sin always starts from the lowest peak and ends up at the highest peak.
Just like that simple anger that started by insulting a person can turn into a murder when the anger/rage starts to grow more within.
Sin is like a baby that gets conceived in the womb, it is tiny as a mustard seed which is not visible at first,but each day it tends to grow a size bigger and as days pass by it finally comes out as a big human baby where nothing can be done to hide it. Understand??
What all can be counted as sin?
We need to know this by now. We just don't commit any kind of act without giving a thought to it. First of all it starts from our mind(thoughts). The devil sows a seed within and only then it comes out as an action.
So when both our thoughts & actions fall under the following list we can be clear that we are in sin.
In GALATIANS 5:19-21 says; That the actions of the flesh are evident which are:
When we compare both of the list we can come to a clear conclusion that the flesh and the Spirit are always opposite to each other. Just as the bible verse says in GALATIANS 5:17; For the flesh desires what is contrary to the Spirit, and the Spirit what is contrary to the flesh. They are in conflict with each other, so that you are not to do whatever you want.
God clearly knew that it would not be possible for us mortals to fight this battle on our own.As we are weak and can't afford to win over the temptations.That's why God has an other name for sin, He terms it as our weakness.
So He made all the more clear that He's the only one who can help us come out of our weakness.
As the bible verse mentioned here proves it so...In 2 CORINTHIANS 12:9 it says; But He said to me, " My grace is sufficient for you,for my power is made perfect in weakness.
How to come out of sin/our weaknesses?
In the previous section we saw that God's strength and grace is more than sufficient for us to be saved. But how can we work it out? Like what do we do to see His power being manifested in our weakness?Well there are few main steps we need to follow up to understand how His grace & strength works and can help come out from our weakness.
Let me explain it with an easy example;
Imagine that you've fallen into a deep pit-the pit is dark and scary-since it's very deep its not possible to climb out on our own-we need HELP.
So the 1st thing what we do is

- Dissensions-disagreement
- Heresies-an opinion or doctrine contrary to the church
- Envy
- Murders
- Drunkenness
- Revelries-noisy partying/merrymaking
Now lets look at the fruits of the spirit. Both of our thoughts and actions need to come under these. We need to have all of it, if we don't have even one of it then we are in danger.
In GALATIANS 5:22 we can see the fruits of the spirit;
- Love
- Joy
- Peace
- Long-suffering
- Kindness
- Goodness
- Faithfulness
- Gentleness
- Self-control

- Shout/call out for help, so that anybody can hear your cry.
- If someone has heard it then they would search out from where the voice comes from and would come to the rescue.
- After they find you, they would lend out their hands to help you come out.
- And as soon as you see that person a sense of HOPE & TRUST gushes out from within.
- And then immediately you would also lend out your hand to catch hold of the person whose willing to save you.
- You would catch hold on to that person's hand so tightly as you never want to be left behind in that pit again. Even if that person if let go, you will be in a state to never let go of his hands. Because all you need is your life and you'll want to be saved from the pit.
- After being saved, now the 1st and the last thought would always be that you should never fall into the pit again.
- And if your not careful hereafter you know that you have to face the consequences.
All of our lives is same as the same pit situation. For all have sinned and fall short of glory of God(ROMANS 3:23). Which ensures that we all need a Savior else we are to die for sure getting drowned in sin.
So all you have to do get saved is;
- Acknowledge that your in sin that your weak and you need a Savior.
- And only then you'll shout/cry/call out to God.
- And only when you call out to God, He will come to your rescue. Our God is a very decent & dignified God. He doesn't come into our lives without our permission. So only when you invite Him into your lives He would come in, answer you and be your God(PSALM 9:15;When he calls on me, I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble, i will deliver him and honor him).
- As soon as God hears your cry He'll come to the rescue.(ROMANS 10:13; For "whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved."). And He'll will wait for you to speak out.
- Next all you have to do is have that blind faith in God and pour out all of the burdens. Only when you have that faith you can move out to the next level.
- As soon you believe that God is the only one who can save you, you'll end up confessing your sins without having to hide(obviously God knows it all before you can say but He loves to hear you share all of it with Him). Cause that's when the bond between you & God will become more stronger.
- As soon you confess all your weaknesses, you need to ask for forgiveness.
- And as soon as you do that ...do you want to know what God will do? Let's look at His word from the bible in 1 JOHN 1:9 it says that; If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness. How amazing Our God is!!
- And now by His grace & blood all your sins have been washed clean and we become eligible to enter into Heaven.
- But it doesn't end here. After we have been saved we should be very careful that we don't end up in sin again(falling into the pit again). And now is the time where God's strength comes in handy. He will give us His strength to fight our temptations and will guard our souls from falling into sin. And when we continue to keep God as the head of our lives, and keep walking according to His word we will be saved for eternity.
